The government is back

They finally got the government back to work.

It must be nice to be one of those idiots in Washington making 150k per year to do nothing. We can't even fire them or impeach them. The only way to get rid of them is to vote someone else in or have the Senate or Congress cast a 2/3 vote to get rid of them.

They manufactured this mess, government employees will receive the pay they would have worked for.
But what about all the people and businesses that lost money to this foolishness, that will never be
made up? Those people ought to let the idiots know daily how much they were hurt by the shutdown. For
them to have smiles and patting each other on the back for getting the government going again, is a
slap in the face to the rest of us.
Disgusting...

The real problem is that come next November, half of the sheeple will go and click on the name that they recognize, the same one promising that the food stamps, free phones, free medical and welfare checks will be delivered on time! With each passing day, I have less faith that we can save this nation at the ballot box - we are outnumbered by illegal aliens and freeloaders - and dead people that still vote.

Amen Old Bear, but right now voting them out is our only option. We can only pray that these people either grow some brains or start using the ones they have.

Congress relies on a "Stupid" American so they can pander to them and stay in power. Hopefully after I'm gone I'd like to think America fell into the hands of another power and all these Stupid Americans work is slave camps making military hard wear for their new leader and have to kneel on a mat at lunch hour every day.

Just as we inherited Social Security the Great Society, other pork and hand out programs, we'll hand this legacy to our innocent grandkids.

Sitting on enough fossil fuel to last hundreds of years, and we mix moonshine in our gasoline.

I'm absolutely ecstatic goofy that the debt ceiling has been raised and it's back to the grindstone for the honest stewards of our money! My insurance rates and deductibles increased for next year.
Ain't life GRAND?

The current collection of bums in DC need to be voted out of office. For years my personal policy has been to vote against all incumbents, at least in major positions. I don't think an incumbent county treasurer is a big deal, but Congress or the Senate was never intended to be a job for life. These clowns are not accountable to their constituents anymore, as soon as they get to DC they forget who put them there and spent the rest of their term trying to feather their own nest. It becomes about them instead of about the people they were ELECTED to represent. Screw the lot of 'em, I say!

It's us against them. All of them. Don't care who they are or what they have done. Throw all of them out. Then make the new batch of them subject to the Laws the make for us.

$17 Triyan and counting.

Some how another, I just cain't help but think the numbers ought to be going the other way to avoid default.
For those of you who live in Guilford County, default is when you spend the living dawg squeeze out of your borrowed money 'till you cain't even make an interest payment, da fault is yours and the bank comes and gets everything you got.

Miss Kitty. Whiskey for my men beer for my horses.

I heard yesterday where the Republican are furious with Ted Cruz because he "initiated the shutdown". They said he committed career suicide and that he will end up on the TV talk show circuits but would never be a career politician. Well if that's what it takes I would vote him in as the next president. These assholes are so wired to self preservation that our true interests are lost in their aspirations. Its about time someone stood up for their beliefs even if he is proven wrong. Its refreshing to know that its not just about HIM and his career.

Cruz took in 800k in donations in last quarter. This isn't hurting him. He is a career politician.

The government shutdown was unconscionable. It should never have come to that, and the "fix" to get things going again is simply a bandaid. Hopefully, this will prompt the voters to send a strong message in future elections and vote these bums out of office.

They are ramming Obamacare down our throats, they should have to sign up for it themselves.

Speaking of Obamacare, the government couldn't even get the ACA website up and running and we expect them to oversee our healthcare? Nobody can screw up a system faster than the US government.
