Exclamation Mark Official Australia Roll Call

What's going on in the Australia Group? Is it still alive?

I see that Finky (Region Leader?) hasn't logged on or done anything since 11/9/2011? Really?

This is an official roll call. Please check in if you're from Australia.

However Jared, for as long as I have been on here, the activity-level in Australia was minimal.

Minimal is one thing that I can understand. Our SW region has very very little activity.

But, the regional leader hasn't signed on to the forum since 11/9/2011!!! That sounds like it's beyond minimal.

I don't think Australia has winter like you do, Greg. I'm pretty sure they ride year-round.

Depends on where in Australia you are I suppose... but you are probably right.

But then again, those Aussies are wimps... they might think 50 degrees is cold.

ha ha ha howdy guys, yeah we are still alive down here. yes we mostly ride year round.. unfortunetly we have a very small nomad population down here, and the guys that do ride them dont seem to be the most internet dependant of souls.. dont worry, i know they do come on here, you just dont see of here them slipping in the side window, drinking your beer and kicking your cat before slipping out again.. i have been away lately with work, so i havent been on due to no internet/phone access in the outback areas i frequent.. seeing as it getting toward wetter weather ill be around more now, as when it rains you cant use the roads for a few weeks/months at a time..

Hey....where's the rest of the Aussies?
It's Dave from Darwin, now Nashville, via SE Asia and Mexico.
We need to have some form of cohesion by January 26th. For the uninitiated and those who don't believe Ozzies fought in Vietnam, the 26th of January is Australia Day. Time for Vegemite sangers, lamb stew and backyard cricket.

On a serious note. I can't believe what happened to Phil Hughes. Tragic. RIP.

Yes batsmen facing a pace attack will wear helmets. This was a freak accident where a head shot actually hit in the one small unprotected space. Damnably bad luck.

We care about our safety in the field of play. Take Rugby League and Aussie Rules for instance. Admittedly we don't go all girly with the padding, motorbike helmets and little towels as they do in some other forms of football; but we do wear long socks and jock straps.

***Cough cough..****
**Splutter**

Sorry guys,
Just clearing my throat from all this settled dust and mothballs.
Looks like no one has walked through these halls in a while.
Im azzbot, from Sydney. I just purchased a 2012 black Vaquero. Let me tell you, in these parts they are pretty rare to own since Kawasaki no longer import them into Australia.

Im on a computer almost 24/7. I do FIFO hours, so when im not working I want to be riding.

Ill figure out avatars and the other crap soon enough..

But for now,
Ciao.
