Mobil 1 GRAY cap
The 15W50 Mobil 1 at Walmart in this area has a gray cap, not red. I am considering using it on the next oil change.
It does not have the energy conserving label on it, was wondering if this is the same as the red cap. Want to be sure it does not have friction modifiers in it. Have any of you used the gray cap `15W50 Mobil 1? Presently have the expensive Mobil 1 10W40 4T MC racing oil in it. Mobil says this is really for the higher revving sport bikes. Seems a little thin on some of the 93 degrees days I have ridden in. Mobil's MC 20 W 5O V-Twin oil is for hotter running air cooled engines . . Login or Register to Remove Ads |
