NW Ride Plan to Estes Park- National Rally

For anyone from the general Pacific Northwest, or BC/Alberta area planning to attend the 2013 VBA National Rally in Estes Park, CO this summer...I have a working ride plan that will go first to Missoula, MT, then south from there. If you would like a copy, PM me with your email address and I will send it along. It includes both ride map and lodging information. Anyone wishing to ride along or meet somewhere along the route is more than welcome. We may even leave a light on for ya......

I realize this would be a little bit out of your way, but you should really try and ride I-70 E from Grand Junction. You could turn N onto the peak-to-peak highway just E of Idaho Springs to Estes Park or go all the way to the Denver area and go N to Estes Park from there.

I-70 is an amazing ride through some of the finest scenery on the planet, it is worth a few more miles if you can do it.

P2P is an amazing ride and should definitely be one of the ride everyone makes while in the area.

If I were coming from I-70 I would cut off at Highway 40 and go over Berthoud Pass. That is one great pass to ride and then over Trail Ridge into Estes.

Our last night before rolling into Estes Park will be spent in Craig, Co. From there, we will follow 40 east through Steamboat Springs and Kremmling before turning north up 34/Trail Ridge Rd. through Rocky Mountain NP into Estes. What, you guys think this is my first rodeo.... ...??
