October 2012 - BDOG's '07 Nomad

BDOG writes:

My Nomad is a 2007 and will probably never be in all done mode. I continueously come up with new ideas to tranform her into what I want her to look, perform and ride like.
This is what I've done so far;
-Polished front forks
-polished front rotors/calipers
-restyled front/rear wheels
-Reckless fairing
-fairing pouches
-Faria gauges: oil,water,volt,fuel and tach
-dash plates and trim
-3" tapered risers
-55 watt spot lites
-coasters
-fuel processor
-big air intake
-cobra true dual exhaust
-progressive front and rear suspension
- volt reg. cover and spoiler
-air damm
-horn relocated
-avon cobra radials
-top bag rails
-fender rack
-lay down licence plate
-highway pegs and mounts
-detailed bolt covers
-shock greasers

If your bike is ever nominated bagger of the month, I'll be sure to knock points off for not having a fairing and no loud pipes!

I doubt it will be nominated, I don't enter it.
But if I did and you took points off for no faring and no loud pipes and no car tire I would understand.
But, I would expect you to add a point because it is purple

No Mark. The turns have amber bulbs and the tail has a 1157R bulb that is red.The led led brake/tail wasn't bright enough from a side angle.

Nicely done. You're right, it is always changing. I think that's the 3rd air intake I've seen on it.

Yup its #3 for the intake. The first intake was raffled off at the Canadian Western Rally in Canmore. If I remember correctly..Canuckrider won it.

If you remember we met at the tourist info. centre in field a couple of years ago so I've seen your bike and know that you made all that cool stuff yourself. That alone warrants a 5. Beautiful bike all round and you should be very proud.

Yes I remember meeting you at Field B.C.. It was a nasty ride home from there with freezing rain and snow. You too have a bike to be proud of my friend.
