Pre-Owned Voyager
I'm looking at a used 2011Voyager in excellent condition and has been regularly serviced at a very good price BUT - it has 110,000kms (68,350 miles) on it. I don't do many miles a year so what are your thoughts on a bike with this mileage? BTW asking price is @ $6000.00cdn or $4350USD

Mileage might not be the issue but some 1700's have had issues with the front drive pulley coming loose which eventually destroys the output shaft of the transmission.
Ask if you can inspect that area. Also look for leaking rear shocks. A 13 year old Voyager is not worth much more than $6000 to $8,000 so look for a lower mileage bike would be my suggestion. |

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind - have a tight budget for another bike. maybe I should just put a fairing on my '06 Nomad and keep it...........

The only thing that might be an issue is getting OEM parts for it. |
