FYI. I'm planning on rolling toward mountain view ark on May 4th. I Will be passing thru Hillsboro Tx. Then head up to Denton Tx. From their I'm like to do a casual scenic ride up. Anybody with suggestions on routes or interesting places to stop along the way, I'm open for suggestions. Also anyone interested in getting together for the ride up, Let me know. Thanks. Ride safe & enjoy Ur ventures.

Well where do I start. First depending on where you’ve been I’d point my bike towards Antlers OK. From there you can take two roads up to Talihina, highway 2 or 271 both are good rides. If you need a place to eat Pam’s Hateful Hussy in Talihina is pretty good. From there take 271 to 1 aka the Talimena Byway. You can take it all the way to Mena (it’s worth it) or just half way to 259 depending on your time restraints. From there ( which ever route you’ve taken) head north.

I don’t know if you’ve been to Arkansas and or what you’ve seen so it’s hard to tell you where to go but with at least a couple days left you might want to see Mt Magazine and if you haven’t road the “Pig Trail” (highway 23 north of I40)it’s a must do. There’s also Eureka Springs and some of my favorite rides are 74 from 23 to Jasper, 123 from Hagersville to Mount Judea and on and on.
I hope this helps

Daves right, Once you get into the Ouachita and Ozark National forest theres not really any bad routes. Finding a hotel will be more of a issue in the middle of everything.
I made a quick Idea route, you can go from there. Hope it helps. See you in Mountain View.

This route takes you right by Mt Nebo. Stay left at Dardenell. Keep it the lower gears, you'll need the torque on some of the uphill curves.
