To White wall or Not To White wall..Too White wall

I went ahead and did it. Ordered the white wall tires. I really like the look of this bike with these white walls on it. With the Mustang studded seat and backrest. The passenger backrest is the stock Kaw backrest that I took the cover off of and had the lady at the local leather shop add studs to so that it would match the seat.

Looks great! I love my white walls, but they do require a bit more maintenance and cleaning to keep looking good.

Ive always liked the look of whitewalls, to me its well worth the extra bit of scrubbing once in a while.

Like the look of whitewalls but I would rather ride than clean and my bike looks like it most of the time.

It's not like there were three quarter million other motorcycles, but I was there, too...

Thanks, Gypsy. The 'V' throws some off and many assume it's a Victory (even though it doesn't look like one), but I liked the overall design so I ran with it.

I like the looks of your bike... all black with just the white walls. Certainly has a retro feel. I would even like to see it with red rims, just to see what it would look like.

Thanks, GL. I was going for a retro-look of sorts. Considered doing red plastikote on the wheels, but once I got the whitewalls on, I felt like it had enough 'flair' for my taste. I might still play with that idea at some point since it's easy to reverse.

I definitely would try it with Plastidip first... just in case it was too much. I am not sure how red the Plastidip red is; but I am sure it would give enough of an idea if it looked good or is over-kill.

No matter though... it looks great now!

Powdercoated red wheels and white walls is what I'm planning on as soon as i need some new tires on the Vaquero. That and a set of Cholo fishtails sticking out from under the bags.
