Frame Down Tube Question

First of all, thanks to everyone who has given up their knowledge and experience with the Nomad on this forum...you have helped make my transition from other makes/models much easier. This question has been bugging me for a few days, however, and figured that someone out there might have the answer...

When I removed the manufacturer's sticker from my 2008 Nomad's frame down tube (right side), I noticed that it was covering two tiny holes about 1/8" in diameter and about 3" apart (they are not capped). Does anyone know what they are for?

Thanks in advance.

Mark
