Key blank

I'm looking for a place besides a locksmith that can make a key for an o7 Nomad. I know the blank is KW14, I had an extra one made at a locksmith
and it cost me $8.00 +. I need 2 more keys so I maker saddle bag key knobs. I tried a local hardware store but they didn't carry that blank.
Has anyone had one made somewhere other than a locksmith? Maybe Home Depot or Lowes?
If not I guess I will have to go to a locksmith.

I had a spare made at a mom pop hardware store near me.
The blank is an ilco x121 dc3. It is a little longer than the stock key, more like a car key. After it was made I needed to file it just a bit to make if fit smoothly, but hey it only cost a $1.50.

I think what he is saying is he does not want to pay $8+ for a key.

I had one made at my local True Value Hardware store. I did have to file it a little so it would go in deep enough to work on the ignition switch. It works all the locks except the steering lock.

Lord, lord mister Ford, look at what you've done.

I love my panthers, but that's the only Ford I'll buy. I can pay someone to fix a gm cheaper than I could service a ford myself. Them parts are EXPENSIVE! Need all kinds of ford specific tools and I think they put locktight on every nut and bolt. I bet the phrase " busted knuckle garage" was derived from a ford mechanic.

A really good hardware store may stock the blanks. Once one near by me did, but they have closed up I think due to death, which is a pretty good reason.

Most auto's are now close to a 100 to get a key. They have fancy anti-theft electronics in the key now.
