After I've figured out the route and the exact days that I'll be traveling though areas it would be awesome to make some plans and meet up with people along the way.

That's a lot better, and puts you near TC, Loaf, and me. Also the ride so far as I can tell will be a great ride for scenic.
I still have not had time to do any interstate map work for you, and it would help if I knew the apx dates for NH, and if it matters which way might be eastish and or westish. Beware you can only ride East just so far! For grins and I can't make a link (still pc stupid) Zoom in on Ossipee at the east some, till you see Moultonboro Air Port at the west. At that point Bear Camp Hwy will be about dead center top, or Northish. Then take a look at that old volcano! I used to live dead center up there. The base is apx 12 miles dia, and that mt is said to have been over 20,000 feet once. You will see Rt 113 on that map too. I am around 2 maybe 3 miles from that Rt marker on the map. I have tools besides a bed you can use..... anything you want.... I had a KIWI Gal come for 3 days, and that turned out to be 3 weeks and then she came back again for another 10 days LOL. She was a rider and wanted to cross the USA one way one time, but she hit a wall in Colorado, not a real wall, but it's there for some riders just the same. Atleast she tried. This means you can stay here so long as you want too, or need to.

That is a nice route through NY Jared.
Camden is 8 miles south of where I live. As you probably know I am retired so if you want I can meet you somewhere and ride together for a while and depending on the time of day I will buy you breakfast, lunch or dinner.

If I could change something on the map in maine, I would add a destination
of Saco, Me. before Portsmouth, N.H. Please don't go to southern Maine and miss the small towns with flavor. I believe it will add like 12 miles on to your day. Rt.1 from Saco to Kittery is a must do.

It's 386 miles for us so leaving Monday and arriving at the Canyon by noon means getting up way too early for my liking. I guess you are riding down Monday morning? Sorry to detour the thread Utah.

In 05 and into 06 I traveled the USA with a list of folks who stated what they could do/help with if I passed close enough. The list was made of something like 16 'Invites", and my rule was no more than 3 nights.
In Cal that rule was broken, but willingly knowing ahead the bike would need tires, oil and the like. The rule was broken in American Fork Ut because Gwyn came down ill, and the hosts refused to let us leave. I never made it into Co, Or, or Wa, which I had wanted too, and apx 8 Invites were there, so those were all missed. Loaf is right on about Rt 1. Rt 1 is scenic in Maine from about the southern end to CDN. It's a old waggin' road though, and crowded in summah'. Is Washington DC STILL ON THE BUCKET LIST? hit caps by mistake, but it looks good. IMO there is nothing to see in summer heat on a bike in DC, and points nawth, untill maybe you hit the coast of Mass.
