S.a.d.
Yes! that's right .. Seasonal Affected Disorder. It's been proven in psychiatry that is does exist! Ya, Canadians have been complaining about it for years. Restless, grouchy, irritable, dietary problems, ... but I don't know. I'm looking out my window at the snow and rain mix under once again ,grey skies, and thinking come on Canuks toughen up for gods sake! Well I do live in one of the most climate friendly areas of the country, I have worked in the Arctic Islands and proud of the fact that my personal record is outside at -60... so buck up! Even though most of our produce this time of year comes from the southern states, and looks like it was dragged up here by truck rather that containerized. Heck in a couple of months we'll be able to plant our own gardens, before winter sets in a few months after that
Some folks use intense lights in their homes to offset the effects, some go on holidays , and hey I've been looking at some "retire in Central America" sites .. looking good .. who's idea was it to settle up here anyway .!! this sucks .. get me outta here .. ahhh.. where's the wine, no wonder Canadians ddrink so much! It's so cold .. I hate working in winter clothes !!.. this house is so small ...

I find that Crown Royal is the best cure, to bad my medical plan doesn't cover it. This has been an expensive winter for me.

I understand this thread was meant as a joke but SAD is real. I suffer from it and know a few who have trouble leaving the house because it's so bad. It's more than the "winter blahs". Making fun of it is like making fun of someone who's blind.

Yup, me too. Just not gonna beat C Black, IMO. Wanted to try the Maple but it's just too much after a couple sips for my taste. Cutting it with Black (easy on the Maple) tones it down & really does make a good drink! Heh heh, been a boring but productive winter!
