Hi Mick.
I am very sorry that you sold the bike. Remember that the bike is gone but friends remain forever. Ciao, amico mio.

That Nomad was a big part of my life. It damn near broke my heart to see it go. It sure did fuck up my finances though. Looking at going chugging. On an old, but simple tool. I might look like the bear on the circus bike, but fuck it eh.

Royal Enfield?????, needs to be in a museum.... Grab one of those old Russian 750's that look like the old BMWs....they'll run on anything, really rugged, theres a big plentiful supply, parts are super cheap....
Or just grab a early HD Shovelhead, you can make them run on ducktape and bailing wire. Coils, plugs, points and condenser thru napa, etc..... Then theres the BUBF vulcans, can be had for cheap. And don't forget the yamaha viagros....excellent fixxer uppers....make killer little chops and bobbers....

Thank you kindly, lady, and gentlemen. I have'nt bought anything yet. I want something a bit different from the crowd. Maybe a retro Triumph, or Kawasaki W800. The Enfields have not been ruled out. I bid on this tonight. But some sneaky bastard, outbid me in the last 3 seconds https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/triumph-a...p2047675.l2557

Hey Mick. Take a good luck at the Yamaha 1300 Midnight Star, but don't buy one if you like working on bikes. Fuel injected, belt drive, 50mpg.
The touring model comes with hard bags, floorboards, a windshield and a backrest. https://www.motorcycle.com/specs/yam...00/tourer.html |

I test rode a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 before I bought the Sportster......now there is a bike for you Mick. A rigid mount 883 Sportster. It reminds me a lot of the 74' Norton 850 Commando that I had back in the late 70's early 80's except more reliable.
