Gotta' Love above freezing

Our northern compadres did it. 39 degrees this morning.

Balmy, balmy. I should have been playing Hawaiin music on the way in. I'm sure the robins just overslept a bit.

My fingertips, although not toasty, easily undid the chin strap this morning. Pretty soon, I'll be driving the Nomad with a regular set of gloves and not snow-mobile mittens with liners. (Kind of analagous to condom-usage in a metaphorical sense if you --wink, wink, nudge, nudge -- know what I mean? Know what I mean?)

You snowbound individuals? Patience, my friends, patience.

You Southerners who've been riding comfortably all winter and regard ice as "that stuff that makes beer cold." Let's talk again during hurricane or tornado season. Or when they discover another 42 ft long python hiding in the toilet bowl, or when the fire ants or killer bees hold their annual reunions, or when the humidity is higher than the temperature and the temperature is 105!
