Mirrors

I haven't seen a discussion about this so I thought I would put it out there in case anyone is interested.

Doing a lot of my riding in Washington DC multi-lane roads populated by people who only use their turn signals when they want to see the pretty light on the dash. Good mirrors are a necessity.
I used to use the little stick-on circles to eliminate blind spots and was always shifting my focus between the flat mirror and the little circle one. but when I got my BMW RT-P I found Multivex mirrors which cover your whole mirror and completely eliminate blind spots If the vehicle behind you is on the inside of the mirror it is well back, if it is about to disappear off the far side of your mirror it is even with your back wheel. In fact, the car would leave the mirrors as it appeared in my peripheral vision completely eliminating a blind spot.

When I first got them it took about a week of head swinging to get used to them but when you do you can check your six without moving your concentration from the road in front and be 100% aware of what is behind you and how far.
