Apple Pie
Starters-
½ Gallon Apple Juice (1892.5 ml)
½ Gallon Apple Cider (1892.5 ml)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
½ Cup White Sugar
4 Cinnamon Sticks
Mix in pot and bring to boil. Once it boils, reduce heat to simmer for about an hour. The longer it simmers, the more juice will evaporate off (see notes below). Let mix cool to room temp before adding the alcohol. Pour finished product into 1 qt. Jars and add one fresh cinnamon stick to each jar. Should make around 5 jars of some great hooch!
Booze-
1- 750 ml Everclear (190 Proof)
· 712ml alc - 38ml non-alc
1- 750 ml Vanilla Vodka (70 Proof)
· 262ml alc – 488ml non-alc
Initial Breakdown-
4311 ml non-alcohol
974 ml alcohol
974 divided by 4311 = .23
23% Alcohol by Volume (see notes)
Notes: My last batch was boiled/simmered for about 2 hours, releasing a heavenly cinnamon flavor. Doing so burned off about 1 quart of the initial 4 quarts of juice mix before I added the alcohol, making the actual alcohol content roughly 29% by Volume.

Sounds like it would be a great "fall-weather" drink if you served it warmed-up after adding the booze. I have been looking for something like that, so I'll give it a try! Thanks Kris!
