Gas Tank!!

I was going to reply to the last post with questions about the size / capacity of the tank............. I had to pull my tank for some work so what better time than the present to get some needed information.
First I ran the tank to get the low fuel warning light. Lucky for me I was only a few miles from home so I think the amount I got out of the tank was a true measurement for "reserve", 1.4 gallons.
So, I got 5.0 gallons of gas and filled the very empty tank. Just did get the whole 5 gallons in, to the very top. This makes sense to me as I usually put between 3.1 and 3.4 gallons at fill ups shortly after light starts blinking at me.
So I guess "MY" 03 Nomad 1500 fi has a 5.1 gallon . Wish I could get that other .1 gallon in. Just sayin.
