Verne Arnesen 7-31-40 to 10-1-15

Verne Arnesen aka Old Dog was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He married Carole Patrick on Sept. 25 1965.
They celebrated their 50th anniversary the week before his death.
They moved to Hibbing in 1976, where they resided until retiring and moving to Kelly Lake in 2002.
He was a retired member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 589.
Verne was an accomplished woodturner and a member of the Lake Superior Woodturners Association.
He loved riding his motorcycle and exploring new areas of the country, which is what he was doing when he passed.
He loved being in the woods, watching the animals and feeding “his” deer in the backyard.
Verne enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and many friends.
He was also fond of spoiling his grand-dogs.
Verne will be sadly missed by all who knew and worked with him over the years.
