Leather accents.....

I was looking at the Chilhowee leather website the other day and decided to order some ......... stuff. It may be out of the ordinary, but I kind of like it. Matches my leather theme.

On the VolusiaRiders.com site there is a member that makes custom kickstand covers. His member name is Froghunter and he calls them Frogskins. I can get his contact info if anyone is interested. They start at about $25 for a basic one (up to 8 letters) and go up from there.

That's cool v0lusia. I wish I had known that before ordering. I probably would order one with "Trip" on it.

Oh Boy Trip!!!! You'll love it! I have that from the same place. In fact, I have purchased LOTS of leather from them for my bike!!! My bike has a studded fringe leather look ;) Since I have the lowers on my bike, they took my custom measurements for the fork covers and even made me a "V" pattern for Vulcan!

I have the mud flaps, the lightbar wrap, the fork covers, the kickstand cover......

Very nice y'all, but man, spending too much time on this site just adds to the list of mods one wants to add to their bike...I'm definitely going to have to prioritize the modifications list.

I hear ya.

cheriAnn,
your bike looks great, you've got alot into it.
Your gonna miss it terribly when you get your Nomad.

Trip,
I was looking at your engine gaurd chaps and I like the look with the large opening exposing the bar. Sagebrush? Do they flap around in the wind not being fasten by your hwy pegs?

Nah, they don't flap at all. I've had these for about three years and thoroughly enjoy them. And yes, they are from Sagebrush. I keep them on 24/7 now. Never take them off.

Thank you!

Ah....I hate to butt in again on this thread, but I thought I would also reply about the engine guard chaps too, if Trip doesn't mind! :-*

Mine came from Sagebrush and I love them! In fact, I was the first 900 he made them for, so my bike is one of the 900's he has displayed on his page for my model bike!!!!

Ok, just my opinion but I'll take chrome over leather any day.
Unless we are talking about Radco's thong and then I don't want to see either

I like the look of your learther Trip. I have found out over the years that good leather is easy to take care of and looks good for years. It is like chrome you have to keep chrome polished and leather has to be kept oiled or polished to.
