Hell, I can't even find radials to fit my '04 Nomad. I want radials. Where are you folks finding these?

Wow Spirello, just wondering...If I loaded up my bike like you do, it would wobble also...LOL
I have the Mets & run 40 lbs front & 42 lbs back. Tires run gr8 . Cheers

Hey Dick, the OEM tires are bias ply front and rear. My guess is that the 150/80 bias ply that they recomend is just the one that comes up in the computer when they search their OEM replacement.
I personally don't like to mix radial and bias tires on a bike but many people do with no problem. And given that you are running a CT on the back I think you'd be able to do about what ever you want on the front cause no one is going to have a front MT that they recomend using if your rear is a car tire.

1600 Nomad actual recommended tire pressures
I have just always aired my tires to what is stamped on the sidewall - on my 880's that's 42 psi. The change in handling was significant, going from the 32psi OEM to the Metzler at 42 - quicker response.
Dyna Beads look like a smart option too and will put those on my list for spring. -CB

I keep my tires (Avon Cobras) set at 40 Front and 42 Rear.
