New Rider/ Boss Hoss
This is Josh.. (my boss's son) he is 18 and just got his MC Endoresment a week ago... look what he is training on. If you're going to learn to ride, you might as well jump in all the way.

Not so sure I agree with that theory. I started with a scooter like a Vespa. Might have even been a Vespa but my Dad bought it for me when I was like 14 or 15. Leaned to ride a bicycle first then moved to the Vespa like scooter. Next up in my early 20s was a Honda 360T.

Thats quite a bike to be learning on, I think he would be a lot better off starting on a dirt bike.

The heat building-up with that bike during a practice day where there is a lot of idling going on must have been uncomfortable.
I don't know that there is anything wrong with practicing with a big bike. It certainly would be more difficult; and expensive if dropped. My concern is the particular bike and that a young kid is going to be riding it. I hope he is disciplined enough to not get himself in trouble.

If you're going to jump in all the way, may as well go with an armored Boss Hoss! Just think, if you drop it during your Motorcycle Safety class, not a big deal!

Since he has had some experience, then I say go for it.
Regarding the armored-Boss bike... wouldn't hurt anything if it fell over unless the triggers were set-off!!
