Key West Trip

Key West is usually expensive. If you guys want to do it, we can find a way. Sometimes, right before Christmas you can find good deals. People are busy with holiday parties, shopping, etc.

Saturday night December 19th, there are a few goods deals, all in Key West:
Comfort Inn $110
Holiday Inn $101
Best Western $109
Radisson $109

Saturday December 12th same as above adding the Marriott Fairfield Inn at $103.

Fairfield Inn looks to be the best deal, less than 10 minutes from Duval Street.

If you guys up north come down I-75 to Naples, I'm 239 miles from Key West. There are 15 hotels in Naples on Friday the 11th between $50 and $95 a night. A rotten economy has its benefits. We can leave first thing Saturday morning.

Just something to think about.

Jim; can we come stay at your house if we are not going to Key west?
I can't do a trip the weekend before Christmas, for me it would have to be after the Thanksgiving weekend and before Dec 18. Or after the first of the year?
Sorry I missed the "not a wrench party" on Sunday. Was too tired after 1950 miles of fun ending the day before.

For those riding to Key West, may I suggest a stop at the Keys Fisheries in Marathon for a lobster rubin. Um, Um, Good.

Ask anyone in Marathon for directions.

Key West Trip

My 5 weeks of vacation are exhausted after Thanksgiving week and it's too late for me to move any to December. My only 7 day break in December is from the 1st to the 7th. So, I guess I'm out no matter how bad I would like to join you all.

The Radison is really nice, big pool and tiki bar. Please remember that everything in KW is expensive. Those lookinjg for a place to stay may also wand to look into a B and B.
