KAWBUC, the # for the Purolater Pure One filter is PL 14610. ;) The older ones are blue in color, and the newer ones are gold in color, but they are the same filter. They won't work with the OEM exhaust, because it's longer than the stock filter, and the goat's belly will be in the way. I run these filters, and put one on Saturday.

OIL FILTER

Sorry 'bout that KawBuc, but in BD's list above, he has a Pure One # for a shorter filter (PL 14612) (about the same size as the stock filter). anyways they are half the price as the Kawi filters, and are about the best filters on the market. I read your link, and before I had read other articles on filters, and that's why I use them.

OIL FILTER

I use the Supertech and even though it's longer it goes on with stock pipes and goatbelly. I don't understand the concern with the longer filter. It goes on and has more capacity for oil along with more filtration.
