Swapping mufflers? You need these!
Changing my Vaquero mufflers back from Cobra rustbuckets. IF your bike is pretty new, you may get away with sliding the gasket off of the muffler, or from inside the exhaust flange, whichever stuck the best. I lucked out when had the Cobra Tru-Flo installed. I soon (less than a year!) learned that, at least the ones they sold me, have bad chrome plating, are rusting like crazy, and even have chrome bubbling on the end caps. Just look nasty! So I finally got the stock mufflers totally debaffled, ready to install. I take off the Cobra rustbuckets, and watch the gaskets shred apart. NOT GOOD! It only has 24k on it, WTH?
So you can go with Kawasaki GASKET, MUFFLER CONNECTING 11061-0240 for $28.18 or close. You need a pair. Ouch. OR jump on eBay and get a pair of Caltric GU5029MG171HF for $10.09 each when ordering a pair. Free shipping as well. Even with the tax, I'm still less than one OEM gasket. If you prefer Amazon, it's less than a buck more, no Prime though.

PartZilla has these too for a fair price. (part number 11061-0240). I got my last ones from Polaris though and they worked fine and were less expensive than PartZilla
