done the bafflectomy
i decided yesterday to have a go at cutting out the baffles from the exhausts. the instructions on this site made it sound like a pain to do but in about 15 mins i had them both removed and boy does the bike sound better, especially when you come off the throttle. i really reccommend this procedure to anyone as it really makes the nomad sound like a v twin should.

Been there done that now you need to get rid of the Goats bladder there is a guy here in Melbourne that makes and sells the bypasses $300.00. Then it sounds like a real bike.

Well done MC, braver than me. I can wait to catch up and check out the new "Noise". If its as good as everyone recons I might need to get some "Aussie" info. And Finky, who's the guy that does the Goaty? And does it make that much of a difference?

Hi AJ yep it makes a big difference better sound more response from the throttle.
My local dealer sells the by-pass Race Replica Kawasaki on Millers road Altona North If you come on the 18th you can judge for yourself I have done both mods to mine and M/C has only done the pipes it does make a big difference when I was in Townsville earlier this year a guy pulled up next to me with V&H on his and said mine sounded better than his so not to bad a recommendation . |

do you find yours a bit loud at all finky? i was considering the bypass but after the pannier incident the wife put the brakes on the idea. (for the moment). im sure when i hear yours i will push to get it done.
Aj the noise isnt a lot louder, it just gives a bit more tone, and a great burble when you trail off the throttle. Login or Register to Remove Ads |
