2010 Routes to the Rally
Quote:
If I understand - you plan to leave Florida [Saturday] and arrive in Wrythsville, GA sometime Monday. We then go Walnut Hills campground in Staunton, VA Tuesday through Thursday leaving Friday morning. I'd like to join the Florida camping group - meeting at the rest area just north of the turnpike on 75 on Saturday. Let me know if this sounds like the plan. Jim Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Jim,
The exit north of the turnpike on 75 is Wildwood (Chromeshop). Ron and I have been meeting at the Gate gas station there when we need to go north. You can meet us there.

to those who are curious, the dog's name is Audit. He generally rides on my wife's GoldWing in a seat with a clip to keep him steady. He wears "goggles" and sleeps while we ride.
We don't take him on rides that involve restaurants for obvious reasons, but I know he'd enjoy the Virgina rally [he will be staying home however]. Jim |

2010 Routes to the Rally
Doug (Reaper), great to hear from you! And would be great to have your company. My plans are flexible but sort of like this.
I am going to leave Sat morning and run up I-95 as far as Savanah, then take I-16 west to Dublin. Then I am heading up HWY 441& 129 & 19 to Blairesville. I have been to Dicks once and that's the way I went and it was pretty smooth and kept me out of Atlanta. What are your plans? Would something like that work for you? Ross
