CLUTCH SLIPAGE
My clutch started slipping with the wall mart brand synthetic . After much research the best I could find out is most or some gas engine synthetics have a friction modifier additive in them like you use in a limited slip rear end to make it slip a little to make a sharp turn. That is what makes the Nomad wet cluth slip when you hit the gas real hard. I changed over to Rotella full synthetic and the slip seems to have gone.

I've always used either Motorcraft or Havoline 10W40 (what I use in my auto's) and haven't had a clutch slippage, now have 40,000+ miles.
