trailer in a bag?

Anybody have the link for the place that was selling the collapsible motorcycle trailer?

Does anybody have any experience actually towing a bike with one? If so in your opinion (if you have actually hand your hands on one and seen it in use or actually used it your opinion will be more valuable!) is it just something in a pinch you can use to get a bike 10 miles to a dealer or is it a trailer that you could use to haul the bike a couple thousand miles, fold up and put away for 3 months then get out, set up and tow bike a couple thousand miles home again?

Nice trailers, but ouch on the money factor....... You should have a look on Craigs list for a good used trailer, I've seen in the past small single rail bike trailers.

trailer in a bag?

I've looked those over in person and they are a great deal. But the little tiny wheels and the light weight of the structure made me uneasy about Hi Way use. Think I need a trailer with at least 12 in wheels if I am going to use it on interstates at 75mph or more?
Buying a bigger trailer used may be the way I have to go?

trailer in a bag?

trosco...I own a Trailer in the Bag. Used it to bring my bike to Helen Georgia for the Spring Rally in 2009. Took the bike off the trailer at the motel and put the trailer pieces in my CR-V. After the Rally, I rode to Atlanta to visit my Brother, next day I had kidney stones. If I didn't have the Trailer in the Bag, there is no way I could have gotten the bike home to Raleigh, NC. There was no way to store it at my brothers. That one time made the purchase worth it.

This trailer is easily strong enough to carry our heavy bikes!

trailer in a bag?

We also have a trailer in a bag. We've had since 05 and have used it many times. I had a two moto guzzis (1100 cc) in Greenville NC at one time when I was there for 9 months on assignment. Ken would fly in for a visit and we would go riding. When came home used the trailer in a bag for one of the bikes to get back to West TN. No problems. Have used it to haul the my guzzi to the guzzi dealer 5 hours away when it died and would not start .We have hauled several different bikes on it to take to shop 45 mins away. We have hauled the 1100 cc Honda shadow saber on it and a Honda Valkyrie which is comparable in size/weight to our Nomads. The Valkyrie has been on it more than once..poor bike been having some wiring issues. Never had any problems and it has come in handy. Nice to be able to take the trailer apart after drop bike off at shop so not running around pullin an empty trailer. We've even loaned it out a few times.
We don't keep it in the bag it comes with; too much trouble to get all those pieces in and out of the bag..have a box we keep it in in the garage. If we take it to use we put the pieces individually in the car trunk or bed of truck. The pieces are much too heavy for one person to pull all the pieces in there and carry.

Funny neither the goldwing or nomad have been on the trailer...knock on wood the 2 most reliable bikes in our stable.
