2004 Kawasaki Nomad 1500 - $8500

I saw this on Craigs list and just wanted to pass it on.

2004 Kawasaki Nomad 1500
This bike only has, 685 miles on it, and is in prefect condition. It gets 45 miles per gallon with two riders on it. I am physically not able to ride it anymore and want it to go to someone who will use it. If interested call Scott at 408 505-7499. Asking $8,500 OBO.

It's in Sunnyvale which is down near Saan Jose, CA

Only 685 miles?! BUT...states that he wants it to go to someone who will use it? Am I nuts or is there a huge difference in that statement? If it was in the eastern U.S. I would definitely have my brother take a look at it. That is less than 200 miles of riding per year...and if you get analytical and do the math calculation factoring in the speedometer being off -- it barely passes break in.

It makes me ponder if he dumped it, got it repaired, but never got back on the horse. I knew a guy who had a Gold Wing in that exact situation.
