I agree. 7400 miles on a 12 year bike is ~600 miles per year. That's a shame!

Its surprising how many low mileage bikes are out there, tucked away in garages. That will make a good bike for someone, Id guess that bike may still have the pog in it with those low miles.

yes it still has the POG. I just got off the phone with the owner, a guy from VROC is having me look at it for him.

Was just going to say the post was deleted. Some people have just got to have a motorcycle or a boat then let it sit unused. At my last job my coach, which is another name for supervisor, had a Suzuki and hardly ever rode it. I kept telling him if you aren't going to ride it anymore than you do, you just need to sell it.

yes it sold to the person from VROC.org that had me look at it. She is going to have me store it at my house till she can fly out and ride it back to Colorado.

There are a lot of good machines out there with no miles on them if you look around. When I bought my Argo it only had 98 hours on it, and it was sixteen years old at the time. It was also still the current model being produced, so you couldn't tell it apart from a new one.
I bought that fully loaded with a tandem trailer for less than the accessories would have cost on a new machine.

this guy bought it for his son who is over seas and he was going to be sent home this summer but they changed their minds and are keeping him there one more year. he said to sell it and wants to buy a house when he gets home. he put a new exhaust system on it and rode it 10 miles and there it sat till his son told him to sell it.

If I'm not being too nosey, can I ask what the asking/selling price was? I just bought a similar bike a couple weeks ago. Lower miles but the same year. After market true duals, and still has the POG so basically the same kinda of deal as this one. I'm just curious as to whether or not I paid too much for it. I won't divulge, it's just for my own information.
If you'd rather not that's fine too. Thanks Dan
