Larger Windshield Advice Needed
I am thinking about getting a larger/taller windshield, maybe one with a "flip" at the top. Any suggestions, advice, warnings? I am 6' 2" and sitting on an Airhawk so I am significantly above the top of the OEM windshield.

Larger Windshield Advice Needed
I have had the Clearview shields on other bikes and really like them.
I had the tinted ones.

I bought the Clearview with the re-curve and +2" and really like it. I'm 6'4 and now I don't have to put my shield all the way to the top. I added a sheepskin with an Airhawk and it can still go a little bit higher if it needs too. Watch their bargain bin for a blemish--you can save some money because it's got a scratch on it you can hardly find; your windshield is going to have some scratches after the first ride anyway. I did get the vent and it does help on those really not days, and also got the clear, beggars can't be choosy.

+1 on the Clearview. Add the re-curve to it. It tosses the wind a couple of extra inches upwards before it comes back at you. I am 6' 1 and found that at the stock height the wind was several inches above my helmet. They are also about an inch wider on each side, that also helps a lot.

You need a taller windshield!
Is that advice large enough for you?

For what it is worth as a reminder... the top of the windshield should be level with the bridge of your nose.
Measure this in more of a slumped position, because you won't be riding straight-up after a few miles. One member here got a little pissed when this recommendation was offered... he said he has never had any problem with the shield getting to where he couldn't see through it. We'll someday see how that works out for him I am most sure. ::) CJ... pipe-down... you damned Harley rider!!!

Yes, CJ, notice it said "larger/taller". I was covering my bases. :-)
The Clearviews come both taller and WIDER which makes them LARGER. :-) Such a grammarian.
