I've done 90% of my shopping throurgh Cruiser Customizing. Each part has reviews from others that have purchased the items and that's how I learned alot on the "cross over" fitments. The chrome Front lowers are new from Kuryakyn. The are about 150.00, the swingarm cover and shaft cover are both fitment for the 1600 classic but will fit the nomads.

I'm very interested. Is there a link you can give us? I keep getting a Canadian webite, and seeing as you're American, I'm going to guess it ain't the one. http://www.canadiancruisercustomizing.com/
Thanks

Wait a minute, could this be the place?

Thanks !!! I didn't see a contact number to ask if certain things will fit the Nomad. Can you tell me what it is you found that will fit.
I got the swing arm,... did that include the round "bolt/mount ....head" of the pivot? Or is that purchased separate?

The chrome swingarm bolt cover was factory on older Nomads. It IS NOT part of the swingarm cover from Cobra. I have searched far and wide and cannot find one. So I made my own with chrome paint.

The Cobra Shaft cover will also fit the Nomads but with 07/08 models a small knotch is needed to fit snug do to the addition of a support gusset added. There are air covers that do not mention the Nomads but others have blogged that they do fit..One is made by Free Spirit.

On the Cruiser Customizing web site, just read the reviews of any product you are considering. Most reviewers have their bike listed in their message and that gives you an idea as to what will fit.

Thanks 38028
I took a pager out of "hammers" book and used a small, convex mirror with a sticky back.

Kris maybe you can help here.

Oh and nomad38028 what web site did you find these things for a classic but fit the Nomad. http://www.cobrausa.com/ ???
Which "Classic" did/do you chose for the model.?

I've never seen the aftermarket chrome for the frt. lowers. I like them.
Rickyboy. Wsddelcome is not Swedish or Norwegian, it's Giberish for Welcome. :)

The fluted chrome covers on the lowers are from an older Nomad, I think 04-05. A local Kawasaki dealer had them on the shelf. I liked them better than the 08 smooth ones. They matched up perfectly. They are a little thicker so I went with slightly longer hardware. Got the chrome acorn nuts and button head bolts at a local hardware store.
