Gary Truitt 8-7-47 to 5-31-11

I just received word that one of our own, Gary Truitt, VBA member #1119, was lost in a motorcycle accident on the night of May 31, 2011 in Dallas, Texas.

In addition to being a VBA member and Nomad owner, Gary was a Special Forces Vietnam veteran and a former Sheriff for the Ellis County Sheriff's Department in Oklahoma.

His life passion was his wife Linda, son Michael and riding his motorcycle with other Veteran and Christian groups.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family.

From what you posted Trip he sounds like he was a good man. My condolences to his family and friends.
