Wanted OEM Baffles
I just debaffled my 1500. I am not sure if my wife is going to like the loader sound. If anyone has a set of baffles that did not get damaged during removal I may be interested in them. I think I would like to make them removable.
Mine were very hard to get out, so I will not be able to reuse them. Are the 1500 and 1600 baffles the same? Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Vaccam. Just a thought. J.C. Whitney has baffles you may be able to use and rig as removable.
Just in case no one here has any to offer. |

donguer,
Thanks, I will check them out. I still have the old ones, but I would need to modify the end that I damaged in trying to get it out. Thanks, |

They also have muffler systems you may be able to retrofit.
On another matter I travel I95 every other week and find myself in the Baltimore, DC, VA area. Maybe this Spring I'll give ya a holla! |

vaccam, I have a 2007 1600. I think I still have my baffles. I don't plan on putting them back in, I like the new sound to much I'll look in the garage tomorrow. Right now we are getting 2" of lake effect snow an hour. We got 2 and a half feet today and another 6" since I plowed s couple hours ago. anyway thats my problem not yours ;)
I'll look tomorrow and if I didn't get rid of them , and they will fit your bike, they are yours.

donguer,
Sounds good! Do look me up when you are in town. I'm always ready for a ride. TC, If you still have them that would be great. Please let me know. Thanks, Michael |

I have mine as well. One has some marking on it as I did not realize I had gotten all through the weld on the first one but you can have them. They do have some carbon build up. I'll be glad to clean the best I can. If they work, great, if they don't, no loss.

kawgirl, TC,
If you both don't mind sending them to me, that would be great, that way I should be covered. I will PM you with my address and I will cover shipping with Pay-pal if you have an account. If not I am sure we can work something out. Thanks, Michael |

just slap a set of big V&H baggers on that bike and quit worrying about the plugs.
