New SW Region Name

It has been discussed that do to the change in name we may want to come up with a regional name. So with this post let's discuss whether we want a name change or potential ideas for a name change. I do have a couple but will hold them for a while.

By the way, have a happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Joel, I'm reluctant to admit that I have no idea what the present name is other than Southwest Region. Enlighten me.

That is the one we have right now. Some of the other regions are looking at name changes.

I'll just throw this one out.

Desert Baggers. Most of our region is classified as desert so there we go.

I like the Desert Vulcans one. How about "Hot Bagger Bunch" (J/K)

What BD sed...I don't identify with the desert (I struggle with southwest, as well)...plains, maybe, but that lets out Kalifornia and Hawaii...I vote for no change.

Tim

edit: Do newbies get a vote??

I agree! I think a lot of the names other regions are coming up with are lame-o.
