P G R Mission
I took a 300 mile ride yesterday to escort a fallen Marine from the plane to the Funeral home and tomorrow I will make the same trip to escort him to the cemetery he is 22 years old and was killed in Afghanistan. God Bless America. Our prayers go out to his family.

Patriot Guard Rider. I am also a member of the PGR. When a service person dies sometimes the family will request that members escort the deceased. It might be from the funeral home to the gravesite. Some are from an airport to a funeral home, in the case of a service member that was killed in combat and then flown back to the states. Hope that helps a little.

The Patriot Guard Riders are open to any one even if you don't ride go here to join:
http://www.patriotguard.org/ This mission was for a 22 year old Marine that was killed in Afghanistan, we had about 150 bikes from 7 States at his funeral in very cold weather. His funeral was so large it was held at the local school, the PGR stood flag line at the school and then escorted him to the Cemetery and stood flag line there. I am very proud to stand for one that stood for us.
