I don't like any more in my pocket than necessary. I guess if you have a tiny key fob type garage door opener, it wouldn't be too bad. Mine is about the size of a deck of cards. Either I leave it locked up on the bike (which sort of precludes easy usage) or I leave it exposed for anyone to steal. Much easier to just push a button and ride in the garage. Less clutter, too. I guess you could always hook a regular garage door opener to your belt like a cell phone.

My remote is about 2"x4". I had a hook on mine, but it kept coming of my belt, which is a pain in the but if it happens on the road. If I had to replace it the cost is over $30. The cost to adapt the old one to the bike was only around $5.

I just get my fat ass off the bike and open the garage door. So much work, I'm exhausted!
