Smile Gas mileage---again!

Did a small run with the Vaq and kept speed to 70 by speedo (probably closer to 65) and 2500 rpms. Computer showed 51.1mpg which I knew was optimistic so I checked with gallons used and miles-- 101.1 miles and 2.155 gallons of mid-grade for a mpg of 46.91. If the miles are close this mileage is the best yet (10,000 miles on bike) and proof that riding reasonably will give pretty fair mileage. I am running a Thunder air kit, V&H slip ons and a PCV with a personalized map (thanks AzCruzer). The above combination plus the RacnRay throttle mod has made me very, very happy with this bike!

If you can get 200 miles or close on a tank I'd say you are doing well.

I run premium in mine and get around 40 mpg around town. Haven't done a longer ride yet.

I recently added the PCV to my Vaquero and my fuel mileage took a big dropped unfortunately. I am running a K&N filter and V&H slipons. Any suggestions or maps I might could try?

The basic map I started with was from Dynojet: 2011 Vaquero Vance and Hines slash cuts and stock air filter.
I do not run a stock air filter! I have a Thunder K&N setup using the right side stock air cleaner cover. This map was modified by AzCruzer and it works well for my bike (I also run a RacnRay throttle mod). Keep in mind that each bike is slightly different and what works well for one does not necessarily work well in the next one. Time and modifying a map that you start with can yield good results.

Do you have the Dynojet program installed on your pc?
I think you have to have the program to recieve the map.
I tried to send it to someone yesterday and it would not go through.
