Ross called earlier today concerned that we were in a parking lot of a hospital for an extended period of time. Our son lives in an apartment across the street from the hospital clinic and we parked in the lot instead of going down the hill of his driveway. I appreciate the concern for our safety.

I want to thank everyone for coming and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I want to give special thanks to Tom and Goose for leading the rides and coming up with the routes. Thank you to Dick and Cliff for putting up with the slow flatlander on Tuesday. Thanks to Tom, Mike and Shelia for sharing a prerally ride on Thursday morning. Thanks to Ron for finding the Lodge. Even though we were spread out a little, I really liked the accommodations...and we even got to make S'mores! Thank you to Terri and the ROK people for all the freebies and to all of you that brought door prizes.

It was great to see everyone again, meet some new members and make a bunch of memories that will bring a smile to my face for years to come.
You made a commit something to the effect for us to call you if we're ever close to Clearwater to give you a call. How come when I done that you jumped on the Beemer and hauled ass the hell out of the state and didn't call me back until you was three states away?

Uuuuuhhhh, Denial will prove fruitless in this case. I have airtight satellite tracking to back me up. Satellites don't lie.

OOOOOhhhhhhhhh its Mr.Tripp now is it?

OK, so your story is you were on the Nomad at the time in question. Pardon me, I may be mistaken. After I sent you a text that I was coming the next thing I seen was either a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird with the afterburners ablaze headed North on I-95 or an old guy on a Beemer. Didn't get a good look at the face.

Mines getting an air out today from the little bit of rain that slipped into the saddle bags and the leather trunk bag that got left out in the hail storm. And a new battery.

I cain't remeber back that far. Theys a condensed list of stuff that distracts me; women, things that jingle, bright lights and shiny objects. So you can imagine how mind blowing it is for me when (I mean if I was to go) to a strip club.

Speaking of s'mores...........I ate my fair share of those things the other night. I know I counted four so there might have been five maybe six. Two is usually my limit. I drank all of my beer and other folks were donating beer maybe to get me to leave. Three large glasses of wine, when two small ones is my limit to put me to sleep.

That Key West rally and those mid-Western boys built my tolerance up!

See,,,, s'mores distract me.......... from answering the question.

Sorry, I didn't see this thread until today.

I got home about 1:30 Sunday afternoon. I had a great ride home over the Foothills Pkwy, the Dragon, and then 28 all the way to Franklin.

I really enjoyed meeting so many great folks this weekend, and I enjoyed the rides and the after-ride socializing! We're going to need some more Voyagers in the group though. There were some really great looking Nomads in Townsend, but I was the only VV.

I'm already looking forward to the next meeting. If we meet in Helen, maybe I can show you folks some of my favorite roads in the area!
