There is about a 2 mile stop-and-go off the slab before rolling in to a pretty cool garage.

myth buster for Voyager owners

Ran the experiment 50 mile trip home from work today, 90% of it at constant speed just over 60mph, air temp 96, only had to slow briefly through 2 small towns. Opening or closing the lowers on the Voyager to direct more air into the radiator didn't make really any difference in the temp indication. With the lowers closed, it may drop the temp gauge the width of the needle tip, not really any more. Lowers closed is cooler but not enough to mention in my opinion

The temp gauge needle was straight up during constant cruise on the trip home, only raising slightly when slowing going through the towns.

Do not attempt this at home... this experiment was closely monitored and controlled by watching the temp gauge through my one good eye and controlling the speed scientifically/electronically through a kawi engineered cruise control. outside air temp was recorded from looking at weatherunderground's web site. -- and -- opening and closing the Voyager lowers while flying down the highway at breakneck speed.... well, sorta .....

Your results may vary.....
