I have been doing some trip planning for a ride into Colorado pre the Nat. Rally.

I found the following at the Gunnison, CO KOA.

A warm or cool and dry place to sleep is all I need and for $36/night the price is good to go for me. I might stay several nights and take day rides out of there.

Yes we do have tent cabins. They are our very own design and construction here at the Gunnison KOA. Hey US: when are you heading to CO? I will visit DesMoines to see Daughter the weekend of fathers day and then have 7 days to kill before rally. Maybe we can ride out together. Gunnison and the Elk River Rd is one of the places I want to get to while I am out there.

I have a Son that leaves Cortez, CO. I am going to take a 4 day ride and vist with him and then go from there to the Rally - will take 4 days to get there crisscrossing CO as I go. I will be hitting the road around June 12 or so.
