Someone just told me La Casita in Globe is the bomb. It's been there since the 50's.

I had to look it up as I have never heard of it. It looks like it is in Globe's old downtown area. I usually never venture off of US-60 going through Globe. I'll try and find it next time I go through there.

They said it was in Old Globe.

The interesting thing about the salsa at Irene's is it tasted like it had nutmeg in it. I couldn't get the idea of pumkin pie out of my head.

What are some other goods eats in Arizona? Looking for locally favored places in Safford, Tombstone, Tucson, Sedona (via the middle of the state, Globe, etc.) and Flagstaff. Doesn't have to just be Mexican. Anything you really enjoy.

If you have a smart phone or iPad try diners drive ins and dives and man versus food. Urban spoon is a good app to. Twin wheels in wickenburg is good...Los Herman's in superior, the pork store in queen creek has very good cinnamon rolls and burritos, tags in Coolidge is good as is the restaurant in the payson airport. Too many places to list.

My personal quest for quality Mexican food has given me a knowledge of the best Mexican restaurants throughout AZ. Outside of the Phoenix area, and more specifically the East Valley, I pretty much know only Mexican places.

Yelp! also has a smartphone app with reviews of restaurants, bars, etc just about any place you happen to be.
