LA conia Bikeweek 2013
Woke up two hours late, head not right. Had directions to mac's house left them on the table at home. I had a cool and beautiful ride through the mountains, such fun. I left the directions to macs house on the table at home, decided to go into the Weirs, and buy a new t-shirt.
Called mac and got directions, got lost. Called mac, he came and found me. Spent some time at their present digs, (quite nice) and talked to Gordon for a while, he thinks I'm a rocket scientist/engineer. Not sure where he got that idea from. Met the old dog Evie, very mellow. Gwyn made some brownies (my favorite meal) especially for my arrival. AWESOME! She is such a sweetie. mac said my bike wasn't clean enough to be seen with his, so he set about cleaning it. You know, laying on a creeper slowly making his way around cleaning it ever so lovingly. I've never given it that much love. He is Special! We decided to leave and ride into the Weirs, mac knows a way to cut off a lot of the stop and go traffic, not sure if it was legal, but we weren't stopped or charged for any damages along the way. In all the years I've been into the Weirs I've never found a free spot to park, mac is good luck, I found one as a guy was leaving, as I waited for him to pull out, mac found one across the street from me. Sweet! We made our way through the crowd to the Paradise Beach Club to meet a couple, Mother Theresa and Jim, that was going to stay with Gwyn and mac that night. We decided to get on the good ship Mt. Washington. We spent the afternoon paying way too much for the gross food, and the 6 oz. plastic cups of beer at $5.75 was outrageous! After a couple of beers (mac is a cheap drunk), and that is when I found out that mac is a transgendered lesbian. He has the boots and well the rest of his outfit...lets just say I left the men's room rather quickly. At one point mac was certifiably insane, and the ship's captain had us escorted from the Mt Washington ship. The band was great! Anywho, I had a great time with everyone, I hope that a great time was had by all. http://s1080.photobucket.com/user/gl...?sort=4&page=1

We had a great time, wish we could have met up with more members. Although I did get a chance to spread the word about the VBA to quite a few riders.

At this gas station there was a line of guys waiting My wife used the ladies room and when she came out there were no females in sight So I popped in there and told her to wait. When I came out she was gone and 2 guys were waiting but not the same guys and I just smiled and said 'It's OK I am a lesbian And that started a whole new theme for the day LOL Loaf made a comment about that big red guy and i walked right over to him and told him I took him for a lesbian too! That guy laughed his ass off and i yelled back to the Loaf that he owed me a t shirt...... That big guy wasn't going to beat me up. That would have made him look stupid. Loaf the guys name is Jim, the dogs name is Evie.... Everything you did was illegal..... Having FUN is against the LAW

Love the pics and I am sure you all had a blast! I also try to share with other Nomad owners the awesome tool we call the VBA. Rides and rallies are great place to meet and share ideas with fellow riders. Thanks for sharing Loafer! Cool shirt Mac!

In NH when the weather suits me i ride with no lid and in a bright T. This weekend in the Blessing in Colebrook. I'ld like to go, but i can't. next time maybe. But OH back in 06 after my 01 Nad was stolen I was able to make the Blessing on the 06 still wearing all the factory decals and a NH paper plate. I know some of the people who put the event on and I know where they tend to be parked. There is a good chance it will rain and or be colder and a little nasty so i wore a brand new lid there too with stickers from that factory. I looked NEWBIE wicked bad So when I pulled in and saw my friends bikes parked and a mess of harleys all in the line I stopped with the engine running and aimed dead on at the whole row.. I yelled does any body know how to find neutral as loud as i could and kinda wobbled the Nomad side to side trying to look as stupid as possible which ain't very hard to do A bunch of hardly's looked horror struck like i was a muslim terrorist or some thing Kim hears me, and yells back Bill just shut the damned bike off! He's just back from crossing the USA to Cal and he has a new bike. Bummer huh?
