"No wonder Harley riders hate sport bike riders"

Not my vid, it was sent to me. I'm not sure how I would react to this, be it cruiser or sport bike....

Well, there's some satisfaction in knowing he can't get away with that kind of crap forever, the laws of physics and probability are quite unforgiving.

I had a DPS motor cop blow by me one afternoon in the shoulder of the HOV lane. I was focused on traffic slowing in the regular lanes, which means some knucklehead may try and hop into the HOV lanes without looking to get around it. The cop came seemingly out of nowhere at about 85 MPH and passed me like I was standing still. Startled me.

That works both ways. I had a HD pass me last yr. coming back from the Red Lodge Rally on the right at 20-30 mph faster than I was going. (I was doing around 70) Never saw him coming from behind me. Scared the sh** out of me. Then afterwards I was pissed.

I was cruising LA state highway 20 at about 60 mph on my Nomad in the middle of nowhere. I thought it was only me and God out there when suddenly two sport bikes passed me one on each side. I was in the middle of a 12' lane and the one on the right was just inside the fog line on two wheels and the one on the left was on the dividing lines on the back wheel. They both blew by me at what I would estimate at 100 mph or faster. I about shit my pants and watched both of them until they were out of sight. The wheelie rider never put the front down for as long as I could still see him. Some of those kids can ride.

Freakin lunatic. I had one pass me up in Vermont in a wheelie at 80 + mph. It's like everything though - you can find an idiot in every group that gives the responsible riders a unfair stereotype.

I've seen that guy he had Mass plates.

For some reason I hadn't thought of this, until I read this post.

Last Saturday I was leaving the Weirs, there was a stretch of road before Meredith where I was alone. (I know that's Unbelievable) Cruising along no one behind me, no one coming at me, a girl on a bicycle peddling hard to get up the hill. (Nice) I moved over to the left in my lane to give her room if she swerves while peddling that hard. At the same time, I hear the roar of an inline four being cranked wide open. I swear the hair on his arm and mine mated during that brief moment that he was passing me in my lane.
For some reason I wasn't mad at him, but glad he didn't clip me. He stopped, and apologized profusely . I was so shocked by what he did I didn't know what to say, guess I still don't. Anyway his four friends finally caught up with us, and started to chew on him for almost hitting me. These guys were from Maine and they appeared to be in their 40's.
Some of us just have to turn the throttle, no matter what the age.

But back then everything wasn't on YouTube or Facebook so you could get away with stupid stuff and you could eventually forget about it. Now there is a permanent record of your stupid acts.

I would be the last to say I've never done such, but I can say that I tried really really hard to never put anyone else at risk. At least east of the Mississippi, it is getting harder and harder to find deserted roads to get stupid on. Population growth, just a fact of life - until the next plague or more stupid human tricks. And if I were to be inclined to mentally return to my unwashed ways, I certainly wouldn't record it on video!

I'm pretty sure I never rode a wheelie at 80 MPH. I used to wheelie my Elsinore - in the dirt.

I had a DPS motorcop pass me on the 202 like I was standing still. I was doing 80 in the HOV. He had to be doing over 100. That boy can ride his ST.
