Yup. Owned. It's all about the gearing. Hildo's bike is admittedly an in town bike. I think he said once that it wouldn't go over 65 mph.

For some reason my bs flag is going up. Most 600cc sport bikes will run a 11 sec 1/4 mile. 1000cc sport bikes will run 9 sec 1/4 miles. The only hd running even close to those numbers is the vrod.
Perhaps off the line, for the first 20 yards, the hd may have the lead, bit that has more to do with the riders abilities.

It doesn't look as though they "raced" for more than a couple hundred feet.

I've seen this one before. The guy on the Honda lacks the skills and/or the confidence to take off at full throttle. He got his a$$ handed to him by experience, not by horse power.
