PGR Ride supporting Homes for OUR Troops

Here is a video of the ride escorting Lance Corporal Nick Thom, USMC, to his new home - provided by Homes for Our Troops. What an uplifting experience - It was an honor to take part in something to honor a humble hero like Nick.

Wherevever you may be, take some time to participate in something like this and to support the PGR and groups like Homes for Our Troops . . . I can promise you, you won't be sorry.

Thank you Napom for posting this video, and for supporting our troops by riding with the PGR!

I, too, am a member of the PGR here in SoCal. Our next mission is a Key Ceremony scheduled for Monday (12/2) wherein 2 American warriors, Marine Corporal Travis Greene and Army Sergeant Odin Ayala, will be given the keys to their new homes. The homes are also being provided by Homes For Our Troops. It should be a joyous occasion for all, especially these two brave men who have sacrificed so much for their country.

In this area there are a lot of opportunities to ride with PGR - especially for Arlington National Cemetery funerals - Unfortunately, I have a little thing called a job during the week when all the ANC funerals are so I don't get to ride with them as much as I would like - the plus side to this is most of my PGR rides are happy occasions like this. My favorite PGR ride so far has been escorting WWII vets from PA to the WWII memorial in DC. My son rode with me - he was 10 at the time - He got to sit down and talk with some of America's greatest generation about their experiences - It is something neither of us will ever forget.

Awesome job, Napom. As the son of a Vietnam vet, I know all too well the sacrifices that our servicemen and women give up for our great country. Thanks for posting.
