More hotels for Orofino

If you can't get into the Best Western you can call the White Pine. It is cheap, no continental bkfst but is next to a restaurant. He is holding 5 rooms for us from the 21st to the 25th. A double is $55 and a single is $44. The phone number is 208-476-7093

If you want something fancier then try the Helgeson Hotel. Reservations only (800) 404-5729 They are owned by the same folks who run the Best Western. I've not talked to them but the rooms should be comparable to the BW. This was a tip from the guy at the White Pine.

If you decide to register at one of these other two motels please let Joel or myself know.

As of last night 1 room left on the block and then another 10 rooms outside of the block.

Joel is correct. But if you call and let them know you are with the Vulcan Baggers you will still get the group rate. :-)

I called the White Pine motel today to release the block of rooms. He had no calls yet so I figured it was safe.

I also called the Best Western to check on rooms.

They had 11 rooms avail on Sunday and I asked them to release 6 so they can fill them.
They have 3 rooms on Monday, 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday and 5 on Thursday.

If someone is waiting to make reservations you best get it done.

The Best Western, our "base" hotel called me today asking for permission to release the few remaining rooms. There was a total of about 21 nights available over the course of the entire week and they are very busy with fishermen right now so I told them to go ahead and release the rooms. They will still honor our rate if someone calls and can get a room. There are other motels avail in Orofino but as I noted it is fishing season and they are getting busy.
