replaced acorn nuts
So it isn't much but I did a small repair. The acorn nuts on the exhaust had rusted so I went down to Ace and picked up some chrome ones. Looks so much better now. I put some lock washers behind there as well to make sure they lock tight. One of those small things that others may not notice but huge in my mind. Already have a list of the things I want to do. Gotta love/hate that upgrade bug

I just bought 4 the other day and got them home and realized they were the wrong ones... not deep enough. They fit on the thread but didnt go all the way down on the bolt. Back to the store this week...

Those chrome acorns are nice.....I have four of 'em facing outwardly from the chrome frame on my license plate.....looks great. I had to go the local Harley store for the mounting kit which includes the screws and acorns.
