2014 North East/ Canada East update

2014 Canada East/North East Rally update
Hi all, 5 weeks to go and I just thought I would bring you up to date on a few last details. Monday evening at 6:30 we will be holding a BBQ on site at the Motel, hot dogs, hamburgers and beer or soft drinks.
In past years ROK has been very generous and supported us with lots of great door prizes. This year their budget has been cut, but they will still be supporting us just not as many prizes.
So with that in mind we have set the admission for the meal and 3 raffle tickets at $6 per head and a small donation gift for the raffle table. This could be anything you wish, flash light, guardian bell, etc or if you are a couple, you could donate one gift between you of appropriate value.

See you there,
Norm, Larry, Tim and Tom

Yeah, should be a blast! For Us Canadians don't forget to pack your passports. Also, remember to bring a small donation for the prize table.
Ride safe.

tomorrow I'll be shipping a box to the motel, stopping the mail and newspaper for next week. Elaine will yell at me but I told her I'll let her out of the box when I get there.

Between that comment and the other wise perfectly harmless pic below it, I'd say your going to have to buy a few rounds to keep some of us quiet.

Honest mistake, the words Sunoco and Petro-Canada can often time look similar, heck even the colors scheme of their logos blue and yellow vs red and white can be baffling to differentiate to some seniors.

LOL Norm!
Well, Petro Canada did take over the Sonoco stations in Ontario...:)
I'm still sticking to my story...Back then, when I used Google Map, it was a Sonoco! :)

"In 2009, Suncor Energy Inc., marketing under the Sunoco brand in Ontario, merged with Petro-Canada™ to form Canada's premier integrated energy company. As a result, in 2010, Sunoco stations were converted to Petro-Canada stations. We are very excited about what this change means for Canada and as always, we're committed to providing you with the very best in high quality products and great customer service!"

Ultra 94™ is now available at select Petro-Canada locations in Ontario.
