Recommend you go to this sight and check to see what pirelli says. I fed in the 2008 1600 classic tourer (nomad was not available option) and it came back stating Pirelli did not recommend a tire or size for this bike.

Also the 71H weight class is kinda light for a rear tire. Here is the weight chart.

I wanted to know if the front was a radial or bias, because when I replace the rear I don't want bias on rear and radial on front

It is probably a bias tire. Usually a radial tire is identified with the letter "R" in the size. example: 150/80-16R

That is a bias tire from pirelli (route 66) size 150/80-16 m/c 71h is a front tire. Pirelli does not have a Rt 66 tire to fit the rear load or size for a 1600 Nomad.

I have them on my bike front and rear and they hold up pretty well. Got 13000 miles out of the rear and changed both and the front still had some tread left probably could of gotten another 3 or 4 thousand from the front but it was just starting to show some cupping of the tread. They are a bias tire.

I bought the Avon cobra 180/65-16 , at 149.00 thought it was a good deal. I got 9,000 out the Shinko 777in the same size. Read a lot of good things on the avons
